Personal Bio/Soccer Experience:
Stephanie Scully grew up in the Chicago suburbs and has been involved in soccer for most of her life as a player, referee, and coach. She played competitive soccer through her youth and collegiate years and has remained active in the sport through coaching and youth development.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Calumet College of Saint Joseph. Stephanie played four years of collegiate soccer and also competed in four years of collegiate track and field, qualifying for the USATF Junior Olympics and placing at national competitions in sprint events.
Stephanie has been coaching youth soccer since 2012 and is passionate about developing confident players while emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Outside of soccer, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three dogs. We enjoy watching soccer, movies, and TV shows, traveling, and supporting youth athletics in the community.
Soccer/Coaching Experience:
- Over 5 years of youth soccer coaching experience across recreational, academy, and competitive levels
- Head Coach and Program Leader for academy and youth programs, coordinating training sessions and player development
- Coached multiple teams to vast improvements
throughout the seasons and division promotions at the U8–U11 competitive levels - Extensive experience coaching ages 3–11, adapting instruction to varying skill levels
- Past USSF-certified referee for six years, with strong knowledge of the laws of the game and on-field management
- Certified in SafeSport, concussion awareness, and grassroots formats (4v4–11v11)
